LEADER of Gloucestershire Liberal Democrats Cllr Paul Hodgkinson will be joining a march for a People’s Vote this weekend.

On October 20, an anticipated 200,000 people will be marching on parliament to demand a People’s Vote on any final Brexit deal.

That number will be joined by Liberal Democrats from Gloucestershire including Cllr Paul Hodgkinson, councillor for Bourton-on-the-Water and Northleach.

Buses are being provided to take members of the public to the march from Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stroud and Cirencester.

Cllr Paul Hodgkinson said of the march: “We know that the majority of the public now support a People’s Vote on the terms of our departure from the EU.

“To avoid the UK crashing out of the EU next year, I, and many others from Gloucestershire, will be taking to the streets of London to demand a People’s Vote on Brexit.

“We must hope that the Prime Minister takes her head out of the sand long enough to listen.”
