A MALMESBURY mum raised over £200 for charity with a cake sale in Malmesbury this weekend.

Kirsty Constable held the event as part of her London marathon fund for Asthma UK.

Despite the rain, the cake sale was a massive success and Kirsty was able to raise £237.50.

Kirsty is running in the marathon next year for the charity after being diagnosed with Asthma last October.

"I was overwhelmed with who came out and bought cakes considering the weather," Kirsty said.

"And when I counted up the money I couldn’t believe it, people in Malmesbury are so generous and supportive.

"I was lucky enough to have help from friends Caroline Pratt & Kerri Elliot who also braved the wind & rain."
