An inquest has suggested that exposure to asbestos is responsible for an Aust woman's death.
Amanda Powell, 49, passed away at her home in Cliff Farm on July 19.
At the inquest, held at Avon Coroner's Court on Tuesday, October 9, Dr. Peter Harrowing returned a narrative verdict.
It was concluded Amanda died of Biphasic Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma.
Mesothelioma is an incurable lung cancer usually caused by exposure to asbestos.
