A MAN was shocked to find a car seriously damaged in Kemble yesterday morning.

The car, a blue BMW, had large dents in it's bodywork, a shattered window, and scratches to the body work.

It appeared to have been parked on Windmill Road near Kemble train station when it was seriously damaged.

As the man was reporting the incident to police at 7am, the car was hit again.

He said: "I couldn't believe it when I found the car in this state.

"Then, just when I was on the phone to the police, it was hit again - by a lorry."

Police are appealing for any members of the public with information to call 101 and quote incident number 65 of October 11.
