A CIRENCESTER woman is taking part in the Royal Parks half marathon in London for charity.
Sophie Marriott, is taking part in the event on Sunday, October 14, to fundraise to support people with cystic fibrosis.
The fundraising will support a new programme which will give cystic fibrosis sufferers the opportunity to perform some of their health checks at home.
“We all value our independence to pursue our studies or our jobs as we wish, but many cystic fibrosis patients simply cannot do that,” said Sophie.
“By raising funds, I hope to make life easier for people who, just like me, want to pursue their adventures.”
