A CIRENCESTER man has appeared in court this morning to answer charges that he stole over £5,000 from a vulnerable victim.
Benjamin Savory, who is 24 years old and lives on Melmore Gardens, was arrested yesterday and charged in the early hours of this morning.
Arrested following an investigation by a number of police teams, Savory appeared at Cheltenham magistrates' court today to answer charges that he conned an elderly man out of £5,250.
Savory has been remanded in custody to appear at Gloucester Crown Court on November 9.
