POLICE are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious crash in Gloucester yesterday, Tuesday, October 9.
A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to Southmead hospital in Bristol where he is in a critical condition with multiple fractures and head injuries.
Emergency services were called to the accident, which happened shortly after 4.40pm, involved a blue Volkswagen Transporter and a blue and white Yamaha off-road motorcycle.
The driver of the Transporter suffered minor injuries and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
Both the 29-year-old driver and the 21-year-old motorcyclist are from the Gloucester area.
Officers investigating the collision would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have seen either vehicle shortly before the collision occurred.
Anyone who has dashcam or home CCTV footage in the local area are also asked to contact police by calling 101 and quoting incident 299 of 9 October.
