All the lights in Holy Trinity Church, Cirencester are currently being replaced with energy efficient LED lamps.

The new lights will be cheaper to run, have a greater life expectancy and give greater illumination to congregations in the church.

The £20,000 project, taking place at the moment, is being completed by H. J. Herbert [Electrical Engineers] Limited, Preston and has be supported with grants from the Friends of Cirencester Parish and Allchurches Trust.

Members of the Holy Trinity congregations have also been generous.

The Friends are set up to provide financial support for projects of the Parochial Church Council of Cirencester with Watermoor pertaining to the three Church of England Churches in Cirencester.

Allchurches Trust is one of the UK's largest grant-making charities and gave £15.6 million to churches, charities and communities in 2017.

Its funds come from its ownership of Ecclesiastical Insurance Group.
