TWELVE bait boats worth a combined £10,000 were stolen from a business park in Crudwell, prompting a police appeal.

At around 10.40pm on Wednesday, September 26, thieves smashed a window before breaking into Angling Technics, based in Kemble Business Park.

Approximately 12 remote controlled bait boats were taken during the burglary.

PC Nick Kelly said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who either heard anything suspicious or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area late on Wednesday night.

“We believe the offenders left the scene in a red Audi estate vehicle and we’d like further information from anyone who can help.

“The bait boats stolen are believed to be worth approximately £10,000 and we are keen to locate them and find those responsible.”
