NEW Look clothing store in Cirencester is closing its doors in less than two weeks time.

It has been confirmed that the last day of trade at the Cricklade Street store will be October 13. Head office were contacted for comment but were unable to provide any further information at this stage.

In March the fashion retailer unveiled plans to shut 60 stores, with up to 980 job losses.

Branches in Cirencester, Stroud and Yate were not on the list at that time.

New Look's rescue plan also saw see the group ask landlords to slash the rent and revise leases on 393 stores across the UK.
