WITH no less than 14 weekly music centres, groups, orchestras and adult ensembles, there are opportunities for musicians of all ages and levels to play, progress and perform with Gloucestershire Music.
Now the local authority music service is offering taster sessions to musicians across the county, with a special open week, October 1 to 6.
Gloucestershire Music's services include:
• Free F.A.M.E (first access music ensembles) sessions for beginner instrumentalists.
• 'Learn as you play' (LAYP) adult programme for those yearning to play a musical instrument.
• Music centres in Stroud, Gloucestershire, Cheltenham, and the Forest of Dean.
• Award winning county music groups.
