A pub in Meysey Hampton, has been awarded the New Pub of the Year Award 2019 by the Good Pub Guide.
The award comes after an extensive refurbishment programme starting in 2015 at The Masons Arms, which saw a £300,000 investment from Arkell’s Brewery, as well as the introduction of a new licensee, Paul Fallows.
Renovation work included a brand-new kitchen and dining area, together with eight rejuvenated bedrooms, all to bring a more contemporary feel to the place, whilst still maintaining the Cotswold charm.
“To win such a prestigious award is just brilliant and I speak on behalf of all my team when I say we’re unbelievably excited with this news,” said landlord Paul Fallows.
Managing Director of Arkell’s Brewery, George Arkell said: “Paul and his team have done a fantastic job in making the pub a key part of the community and we’re proud to support him as it continues to flourish.”
