A POPULAR fundraising event is returning to Cirencester next month.

Bubble Rush is returning to the Royal Agricultural University on Sunday, October 7, from 11am to 5pm, for a second year.

A fun run with a difference, as all those taking part are blasted by bubbles as they take on the 5k course at the university.

The course starts in a sea of bubbles and at each bubble station there will be high powered foam canons blowing out even more as people run past.

In Gloucestershire, the event is taking place for Longfield, based in Minchinhampton, which provides specialist services for adults affected by life-limiting illness.

More than 1,000 people took part in Longfield’s Bubble Rush in Cirencester last year.

Longfield is hoping for an equally fantastic turn-out this year, with everyone encouraged to come along and join in.

People can run, jog, walk or dance their way, with all those taking part getting a medal at the end. To register, visit, bit.ly/2NxOzAs
