FOLLOWING on the success of excellent A level results last week, Rendcomb College has announced another set of impressive GCSE results.
Rendcomb's Year 11 performed impressively across a range of subjects with an overall pass rate at A*-C of 91percent and 66percent of students achieveing B grades and above.
Highlights included Eleanor Whittles from Chedworth who secured 8A*s and 2As, Rachel Watson from Rendcomb with 6A*, 3As and a B. Sian Clift from Meysey Hampton also did extremely well with 3 A*s and 7As, as did Megan Daly from Cirencester with 7A* and 3As and Elena Zodiates with 5A* and 2As. High achieving boys included James Beck whose results included 4A* and 3As, 2Bs and a C and Alexander Tennant-Bell with 3A*, 3As and 4Bs.
Headmaster Gerry Holden commented: "It has been a very enjoyable day at the College, with pupils, parents and teachers rejoicing in the academic success. It is particularly pleasing to see so many pupils' secure high grades across a range of subjects."
