SCARECROWS have appeared overnight around Westcote in a reminder that the fete is imminent.
The Westcote Waistcoats are synonymous with the country fete which boasts live music, home-made cakes, traditional Punch & Judy, a BBQ and bar.
Additionally, there will be a giant bric-a-brac marquee for bargain hunters along with face painting, a teddy tombola, apple bobbing, balloon modelling, hook a duck and hoopla for the children.
Traditionally, the highlight of the afternoon is the fun dog show with categories to suit everyone's pets.
Westcote's Fete is what they call a home-grown delight with good old fashioned entertainment for all.
The annual fete will take place this Saturday, August 18 from 2pm and there will be free entry and parking.
