THE Ernest Cook Trust has been harvesting Cricket Bat Willows in the area of the Pitham Brook footpath for a short while now and this is likely to go until about August 8. This means that the footpath will be closed for safety reasons during the felling and access for the general public will be restricted. More trees will be planted in the next 12 months as part of the re-stocking programme.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact ECT on 01285 712492.
