A 55-YEAR-OLD Yate man who died while paragliding in Italy died as a result of ‘misadventure’ a coroner has concluded.
Simon Tudor, of Blaisdon in Yate, died in Taipana, Italy, a province of Udine, on August 13 last year.
His case went before Avon Coroners’ Court on Tuesday, July 24, where it was heard he experienced difficulties in turbulent weather and crashed into a mountain range.
Mr Tudor sustained multiple injuries and died while still in Italy.
In conclusion, the presiding coroner gave the verdict that the death was ‘by misadventure’.
