England football manager Gareth Southgate has been offered bespoke waistcoats for life, courtesy of a Cotswold tailor, if his team wins the FIFA Club World Cup.

Gareth has been wowing fans during this year's World Cup tournament with match results that have seen his team of 11 lions roar into the semi-finals.

But his dress sense has also caused quite a stir as television cameras have captured him screaming from the touchlines in a traditional suit waistcoat from high street store Marks and Spencers.

This has not gone unnoticed by Cirencester based tailor, Barrington Ayre who have promised the former Crystal Palace and Aston Villa star waistcoats for life.

“It has been a monumental world cup so far and our manager has been the epitome of gentlemanly style,” said Tom Wharton of the shirt makers and tailors.

“We could make him waistcoats with the world cup as the lining or perhaps he could have a portrait of the world cup winning goal on the back – the choice is his and our offer is genuine.”

The Cotswold tailors have been working with TV and sports stars for many years.

Making bespoke clothing for the likes of footballers Robbie Savage and Phil Neville, cricket supremo David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd and former Ashes winning England cricket captain – Michael Vaughan.

It was their work with Michael Vaughan, a keen golfer, that has spawned their bespoke golf range.

Barrington Ayre can be found above Goldsmiths in the Cirencester Market Place. For more information contact the Cirencester Showroom on 01285 689431.
