A FAIRFORD pupil has donated 10 inches of her own hair to a cancer charity.

Isabella Hughes, of Fairford Primary School, took on the cut for Little Princess Trust.

After the disease affected one of her class friends, Isabella decided to take on the substantial chop.

Known in her family for her long hair, she visited the town's salon, Inspirations, where hair dresser Kath Webb

Isabella’s mother Victoria Hughes said: “The hair will now be used to make a wig for a young person suffering from cancer.

"Bella has wanted to do something and we found the charity Little Princess Trust.

"We have posted them the hair and it will now go to helping someone, I am very proud of her.”
