A LECHLADE handler will be organising dog agility training at Barbury Horse Trials this year.
A professional dog agility trainer at Lechlade K9 Centre, Anthony Clarke will be putting members of the public and their dogs through the paces.
Anthony will also be demonstrating his skills with his top dog, Protest, in the main arena on Sunday, July 8, and a team of top event riders will take part in a special 'celebrity' dog agility contest.
One of the country’s top trainers and competitors, Anthony recently won a silver medal at the World Agility Open Championships in The Netherlands.
Barbury’s event director Martyn Johnson said: “We welcome well-behaved dogs and their owners to St James’s Place Barbury.
"Anthony Clarke’s skills with his amazing dog, Protest, are incredible and their demonstration on Sunday is not to be missed.
"Dog agility is great fun and I can’t wait to see some of our top event riders having a go at it with their own dogs!”
Have-a-go dog agility will cost £1 per round.
Everyone is reminded to keep their dogs on short leads at all times, and to make sure that they have brought water and a drinking bowl with them.
Barbury Horse Trials will take place from July 5 to July 8, at St James’s Place
