World Cup fever has will hit a Cotswold Midcounties Co-operative food store which are offering customers the chance to win a number of prizes throughout the tournament, including two Premier League season tickets.

The store are searching for the two best 'Football Heroes', a competition where entrants are asked to nominate their father's for the accolade and the chance to win the season tickets. The competition runs up until Sunday, June 17.

Bourton-on-the-Water's store are also staging a 'beat the keeper' competition for under 12s at their football fan day on Sunday, June 24 - the day of England's match against Panama.

A football hamper is also be up for grabs on social media to the first person to guess the minute that the first goal will be scored in England matches.

£100 food vouchers will also be won every week with an in-store ‘Swipe and Win’ promotion running until Saturday, July 14.

Jeremy Ince, manager at the Bourton-on-the-Water store said: “Great Britain is a nation of football lovers and we are all eagerly awaiting this summer’s kick-off.
