WALKERS braved the rain to join Home-Start Cotswolds at their popular annual fundraising Hike at Miserden Estate on May 2.
Some 80 walkers (and a few canine companions) joined in and were rewarded when the sun finally came out, allowing everyone to enjoy the views and bluebell woods. Many stayed for a lovely lunch at The Garden Cafe.
An amazing £1,700 was raised which will go towards continuing support to families with young children in the Cotswolds.
Many thanks to the Wills family, Strutt and Parker and Relish Catering for their support and to everyone who made the day such a success.
Home-Start Cotswolds supports families experiencing difficulties such as mental health issues, domestic abuse, multiple births and isolation alongside the everyday stresses of family life.
