A CONTEMPORARY craft and design festival will be hosted at Rodmarton Manor.

The Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen will present Crafts Alive at the manor, near Cirencester from September 5 to 9.

More than 30 of The Guild members will be selling their unique handcrafted work in what is sure to be an inspiring celebration of arts and crafts.

Alongside an excellent programme of workshops there will be a sculpture show in the beautiful gardens, talks, demonstrations, physical theatre performances and crafts films.

A selection of the manors rooms will be furnished by Charlotte Abrahams with contemporary crafts in response to the spirit of Rodmarton.

There will be plenty for children to do at the weekend with craft workshops, puppet shows and bread making opportunities.

Tickets for Crafts Alive cost £8 and the festival will run from 10am to 4pm daily.
