CRICKLADE Fire Station held a car wash on Saturday April 14 that turned out to be the station's highest fundraiser yet.
Crew at the station along with Cricklade Fire Cadets spent the day washing cars that stopped by raising a massive £1,027.50.
Money raised will be split between The Firefighters Charity and Cricklade Youth FC.
The Firefighters Charity helps support injured firefighters and their families through a broad range of services.
Pete Price, Watch Manager at Cricklade Fire Station said: "It was an excellent day.
"I can't say how many vehicles we had come to the car wash, we had so many that we lost count.
"We are over the moon at the generosity from everyone who came, who paid well more than we expected.
"A huge thank you to everyone who came and helped with the car wash, who attended and gave so generously."
