CHESNEY Hawkes, Neville Staple Band and Bon Giovi will headline the much anticipated Minety Music Festival as its return for a second year.

The “One and Only” singer will be only one of a wide range of acts taking to the stage between June 29 to July 1, alongside the ska legends and popular tribute band to 80’s legends Bon Jovi.

The festival which was held for the first time last year, was a finalist for Best New Festival in the 2017 UK Festival Awards.

An impressive spectrum of musical styles on offer will span from funk to folk, rock to 2Tone, Big Band to Indie and all stations in between.

Festival-goers will have two stages to choose from and a shopping village, with kids amply catered for with slack-lining, all-action assault course, indoor caving and circus skills workshops, as well as bouncy castles, and other activities.

The community based not-for-profit fundraiser will be supporting a wealth of charities including Wiltshire Air Ambulance, Combat Stress, Naomi House, and Jack’s Place Hospice for children and young adults.

As the festival is manned entirely by volunteers, every penny raised goes straight to the charities and towards sustaining the festival next year.

Day tickets are available, with those extending their stay embracing the true festival spirit by camping or in campervans, with the main stage undercover, so visitors can enjoy the show, rain or shine.

There will also be a variation of foods on offer, produced on-site by a range of selected vendors as-well-as a breakfast bar for the over-nighters.

There is also a well-stocked bar specialising in beers and ciders from the region to keep festival goers fully fuelled.
