A PERFORMANCE by the Dancing Grannies troupe will celebrate the relaunch of Cirencester opticians.

Opening tomorrow following a substantial re-fit which has created four new jobs, customers will be welcomed to a day of fun with a face painter on hand to keep youngsters and adults entertained.

To promote the new audiology service, there will be a giant ear walking around and a representative from Specsavers’ home visit service will be on hand to talk to locals about domiciliary services.

Store director, Kelly-Anne Nelson, comments: ‘We are delighted to welcome the Dancing Grannies and walking ear to our store for the official relaunch.

“We’re looking forward to what will be an exciting day of entertainment and hope to see lots of friendly faces.

‘We are also sponsoring Cirencester’s Cancer Research Relay For Life in July, so we’ll be offering goody bags and specs MOTs (cleaning and adjustments) in return for charitable donations.’

The expansion means the store now boasts three new testing rooms, a dedicated contact lens area and a new hearing centre which will soon offer clinics five days per week.

Thanks to the very latest in cutting edge technology, the team can now offer an even wider range of dedicated services.

Members of the community will be greeted by new team members on the day, including hearing aid dispenser, Cheryl Iwaskiw.

“I am thrilled to be a part of the amazing team here in Cirencester,’ says Cheryl.

“As well as encouraging people of all ages to come in for a hearing test, we are here to provide helpful tips and advice about keeping hearing healthier for longer.”
