THERE are several incidents to bring you on the roads this morning.

A lorry caught fire on the M5 southbound Junction 12 Quedgeley/ Hardwicke slip road at around 4.10am.

Firefighters are still on the scene and the slip road is closed with a diversion in place. (See the full article for more details).

Elsewhere in the Stroud district the A419 Cowcombe Hill in Frampton Mansell is moving slowly due to telecoms work and temporary traffic lights.

Work on the incinerator cable continues causing delays on the B4008 at Haresfield and through Stonehouse High Street.

Temporary traffic lights and telecoms work is also in place on Bisley Road.

The B4060 in Wotton-Under-Edge is also closed due to roadworks.

The A46 Painswick is moving slowly as usual due to temporary traffic lights and telecoms work.

There is the usual slow traffic on the A417 heading towards the Air Balloon Roundabout.

Gas and main work and temporary traffic lights are also causing issues on the B4014 High Street, Malmesbury and on the A429 London Road in Cirencester.

One lane of the M4 westbound between Junction 18 (Bath/Tomarton) and Junction 19 (M32) is closed for barrier repair work.

There is the usual congestion on the A38 Gloucester Road in Almondsbury.

The A4174 Ring Road at Downend and Hambrook is also very busy.
