A PENTATHLON athlete from Tetbury has teamed up with a Cotswold tailor for a new equestrian range.

Zoe Davison,18, has been chosen as the face of Cirencester based Barrington Ayre Sport, a clothing range specific to the riding industry.

Zoe has already picked up trophies and can include Best Brit at the Youth World Championships in Prague followed by a top five finish at the U23 European Championships in Poland as a youth athlete and team bronze as her achievements.

The new sports range has been made with Zoe in mind, combining modern day equestrian clothing with some custom items like tweed capes and jackets.

Zoe said: “I love the entire range but if I was to have to choose a favourite it would be the tweed cape with the fur collar.”

“To be able to create my own version and design the cape with all the extras was an amazing experience and great fun.

"In my eyes now it is the perfect cape for anyone to wear wanting to dress up their look, especially matched with a pair of Fairfax and Favor boots.”

Tom Wharton of Barrington Ayre said: “I have worked with some great sports professionals and I see something in Zoe that is very similar to those already at the top of their game.

“The range also incorporates our golf wear which is now being used by some of the guys on the European Tour."

The Cotswold based tailors have been working with TV and sports stars for many years, making bespoke clothing for the likes of footballers Robbie Savage and Phil Neville, cricket supremo David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd and former Ashes winning England cricket captain, Michael Vaughan. It was their work with Michael Vaughan, a keen golfer, that has spawned their bespoke golf range.
