A DRIVER was airlifted to hospital after a crash on the A429 Fosseway in Gloucestershire today.
A bue Ford Mondeo driven by a 44-year-old man from Leicestershire crashed with a white Mercedes Sprinter van driven by a 56-year-old woman from Derbyshire.
The accident happened around 8.40am near Moreton-in-Marsh.
The Mondeo driver was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, by helicopter. He had life-threatening injuries.
Both the driver and passenger in the van were also injured.
An ambulance took them by road to Warwick Hospital.
The road was shut for several hours after the crash, but is now open.
Police are appealing for any witnesses. Call 101, quoting incident 81 07/01/2018.
