A THEATRE group from Malmesbury is looking for young people to join up as part of their latest project.
The Last Baguette theatre company is participating in the Festival Street Theatre project which will form part of Corsham’s festival weekend on Saturday, June 17.
They are calling for all young actors and theatre makers to get involved and create characters, come up with a concept, design costumes and devise and develop your own idea for their street performance.
Sidney Robb from the Last Baguette said, “We are a professional theatre company who lead the Youth Theatre at Pound Arts and regularly create performances with young people around the Southwest.
“We make fast-paced, irreverent physical comedy and tour to theatres, rural touring venues and arts centres in the UK, France, Switzerland and Canada with our entertaining, accessible and eccentric theatre.
“Recent projects have included Cave People's carnival street theatre in Malmesbury and Dancing Back to 1914 for Wiltshire Council.
“Last autumn we offered popular Halloween Theatre Workshops in Corsham, Malmesbury and Bradford-on-Avon.
