THE A429 between Yanworth and Northleach was closed for several hours after a serious crash involving two BMWs and a Mercedes.
The incident occurred at 4.30pm yesterday and it is the latest of a series of serious of collisions on the A429 that have occurred during the course of the past year.
As a result of the incident, four people have been taken to three separate hospitals in Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Bristol, where they are being treated for serious injuries.
A cockapoo breed of dog was thrown from one of the vehicles involved in the collision and it has yet to be found by its owners. It is thought the dog could be in the Northleach area. The dog has now been found safe and well.
