A PRIMARY school in Cirencester has launched a new class to welcome pre-schoolers.
Unlike most pre-schools, the children at Watermoor Primary School’s class all wear uniform, and the group has been given a name, The Fire Flies, just like other classes.
Pupils aged three to four take part in a variety of activities which staff try to centre around the children’s experiences.
Classes are based around the same values and topics as the rest of the school and one of the popular activities includes storytelling, where the little ones are taught how to tell fables using motions instead of words.
In class, the children have access to a whole host of learning resources such as iPads and an interactive touch screen TV.
The preschool is open five days a week and places are still available – for more information, call a member of staff on 01285 653817.
