A HORSE box and a car were involved in a crash in Bristol Road, Cirencester earlier today, and police are working on getting the road cleared.
A paramedic who happened to be on the scene at the time of the crash called the police at around 10am this morning.
A horse box and a car had been involved in a crash on the road between the Waitrose roundabout and Cirencester Fire Station, causing long queues of traffic.
Gloucestershire police officers closed the road and diverted vehicles.
The Highways Agency also rushed to the scene as the horse box was leaking diesel onto the road.
No-one was injured in the crash and police say it was "not serious". There was no horse in the horsebox.
One lane was re-opened at 10.40am and officers are working on getting traffic moving again.
