Swindon Wildcats 5 Bracknell Bees 1
SWINDON Wildcats saw out February in great style by blowing away basement club Bracknell Bees.
The in-form Aaron Nell was soon on board with a goal in an early powerplay.
But when the Bees were handed a powerplay themselves just minutes later, young forward Vanya Antonov claimed an equaliser.
In the 12th minute, Nell and Swindon restored their lead, again on a powerplay.
During the second period, when it was four against four on the ice when Jonas Hoog finished impressively to make it 3-1.
Taking advantage of another powerplay situation, the Wildcats claimed a three-goal lead through Tomasz Kana's slapshot.
An early drop-of-the-gloves dust-up between Sam Bullas and James Galazzi kept the clash at a high intensity.
Moments later Nell completed his hat-trick with a clinical finish to make it 5-1.
