CIRENCESTER – Service at the Parish Church on Sunday, November 9 at 9.30am followed by a parade at 10.45am by the Market Place war memorial
BOURTON-ON-THE-WATER – A joint service between the Baptist Church and St Lawrence Church on Sunday, November 9 at 11am on the Village Green.
MALMESBURY – Malmesbury service will be at 2.30pm in the Abbey with a guard of honour from the 9th Regiment in attendance on Sunday Nov 9. There will also be a concert in aid of the Poppy Appeal on November 6 in Malmesbury Abbey entitled ‘Music from the Shows’. Start time 7pm, £5 entry.
SHERSTON – There will be a gathering at 10.45am at the Lych Gate of Church of the Holy Cross for an 11am service in the church. A road closure order has been obtained so that everyone can gather safely in the road.
A detachment from Buckley Barracks will attend and with a wreath laying followed by readings, prayers and music starting at 10.45 am. After the service everyone is invited to the village hall for refreshments.
TETBURY – St Marys’ Church 2.30pm on November 9. This will be a Churches together service led by Fr Isidore Obi.
CRUDWELL –Crudwell Church, 10.50am on November 9.
LEIGH – A service will be held at All Saints Church, Leigh starting at 10.55am on November 9.
STANTON ST QUINTINS – There is a Service of Remembrance on November 9 at St. Giles Church starting at 10:45am in the graveyard by the war memorial for the laying of wreaths and the two minutes of silence. A group of 10-20 soldiers from Buckley Barracks are expected.
