TWO teenage girls were taken to hospital after a school bus carrying 20 children on the way to a Malmesbury School left the road this morning.
The bus crashed at the Five Lane Crossroads on the A429 near Malmesbury this morning and police are currently investigating how the accident happened.
The crash happened at around 8.30am and the road was closed as a recovery truck made its way to the scene from Swindon.
It was re-opened at 12.30pm this afternoon. No other vehicles were involved and no-one else was injured.
The two teenage girls suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital.
A police investigation is ongoing.
