AMPNEY ST PETER dressage rider Lara Griffith was in winning form at the Addington Manor Premier League in Buckinghamshire.
Lara is based at Laura Tomlinson's yard and was competing aboard Rubin Al Asad, owned by Laura's parents Dr Wilfried and Mrs Ursula Bechtolsheimer.
The combination produced a lovely test in the FEI Inter I class of 74.518%, to finish more than four per cent ahead of her nearest rival.
The result was all the more impressive as it was Rubin’s first Inter I competition and the pair’s first outing this season.
Griffiths is a UK Sport lottery-funded World Class Development rider and will compete on her other ride, Andretti H, at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.
