A CHARITY that provides dogs to help disabled people is set to benefit from a Cotswold wildlife centre’s dog show.
Proceeds from Cotswold Wildlife Park’s Scruffs Dog Show on May 10 will go towards Dogs for the Disabled (DFTD).
The event takes place at the centre’s base near Burford and classes include Best Biscuit Catcher, Best Hurdler, Waggiest Tail and Best in Show.
The show starts at at 1.30pm and dog owners can register their pets from 10am at a cost of £2 per class - with all proceeds going towards the £3 million a year needed to run the Banbury based charity.
DFTD’s services create exceptional partnerships between people living with disability and specially trained assistance dogs.
To see the show, normal park admission prices apply (Adults £14, infants under three - free, 3-16 - £10, over 65 - £10).
