NONE of the top three in the Total Triumph Order of Merit – including second-placed Cirencester head pro Ed Goodwin – featured in the prizes at the latest Gloucester and Somerset PGA Medal at the Filton Golf Club.
The event was won by home professional Daryl Kelley as he collected win number three of the season – all in the last four weeks.
He was the only player to beat the par of 70, his 69 coming despite two late bogeys.
Goodwin was tied for seventh with a 75, one shot more than Order of Merit leader Giuseppe Licata, who holds a sizeable advantage over Goodwin and Roy Holland with just two medals remaining.
