A DECISION on whether to allow eight homes to be built in Ampney Crucis has been delayed for councillors to see the area for themselves.
John Lafford has applied to build eight houses, including 50 per cent affordable housing, on a site next to School Lane.
Cotswold District Council received 47 letters of objection to the scheme.
Neil Holt spoke for village residents at a meeting of CDC’s planning committee. “The proposed scheme will give no economic, social or environmental benefits,” he said.
Committee members agreed they should visit the site before making their decision.
