RESIDENTS in the Cotswolds still have the chance to have their say on how many district councillors should represent them.

The Local Government Boundary Commission for England launched a consultation earlier this month into proposals to reduce the amount of members on Cotswold District Council by nine to 35 as part of a review of the number, names and boundaries of the authority’s wards.

To have your say write to The Review Officer (Cotswold), Local Government Boundary Commission for England, Layden House, 76-86 Turnmill Street, London, EC1M 5LG or visit consultation.lgbce.org.uk before Tuesday, July 16.

The organisation will present its recommendations in September.
