A PERMANENT memorial to fallen soldiers has been unveiled at the Duke of Gloucester Barracks near Cirencester.
The memorial board at the headquarters of 104 Logistic Support Brigade honours those who have died while serving with the brigade while on duty was dedicated in a service on Thursday, June 13.
Nearly 80 members of the army attended the service including from 23 Pioneer Regiment based at Bicester, who have lost three colleagues in Afghanistan.
Private Daniel Parker of 23 Regiment the Royal Logistic Corps said: "It was an emotional day but a fitting tribute".
"Their names will live on forever more."
