A CIRENCESTER charity is holding a week of events raising awareness of homelessness amount young people.
Cirencester Housing for Young People (CHYP) will hold a range of events from Monday June 24 starting with an open day at the charity’s headquarters on Querns Lane from 3pm and culminating on Friday June 28 with a street collection, sofa push around the town and a mass ‘sleep out’ outside the Parish Church.
Other events throughout the week include an antiques valuation day at the CHYP charity shop on The Waterloo and a treasure trail around Minchinhampton.
The charity was founded in 1986 and provides homeless young people aged between 16 and 25 with accommodation and support to get back on their feet.
