COTSWOLD artist Anita Saunders is holding her exhibition, Animal Magnetism, at the Corinium Museum in Cirencester from November 30.

Painter, printmaker and illustrator Anita, who lives in Wiltshire, has a strong connection to the Cotswolds and grew up in Bourton-on-the-Water.

She said:”My dad’s family goes back for many, many generations in the various villages in our region. My mum moved down from the Scottish borders with her family when my grandfather came to work as shepherd on one of the local estates.

“The countryside is definitely in my veins.  It’s this love of nature and animals which inspire my work.”

This exhibition shares Anita’s love and admiration for the natural world, expressed through a variety of media: paintings, textiles and print making.

She was one of the artists selected to decorate a leveret for the 2017 Cotswold Hare Trail and has been selected for one of the large hares for 2018.

Animal Magnetism will be an exhibition of paintings, limited edition fine art prints as well as a range of soft furnishings and gifts. Work is for sale.
