SUDELEY Castle and Gardens will be hosting 'Katherine Parr Day' for the anniversary of the death of the Tudor queen who lived and died in the castle.
On Sunday, September 3, from 10am-4pm, guests will be able to enjoy talks from specialist historians, a performance from local historical music group and exhibits about the queen's life.
Sian Jocelyn, visitor services manager, said: “As Henry VIII’s last wife and the first queen to have her own work published, Katherine Parr led a fascinating life, and it is only fitting we come together to celebrate her legacy, 469 years after her death."
The event is included in the price of a general admission ticket or with a 12-month pass, see sudeleycastle.co.uk
