PERICLES Theatre Company and Atelier Community Theatre are bringing a new family show, The Tailor of Gloucester, to Stroud at the beginning of January.
This heart-warming and funny adaptation of Beatrix Potter's The Tailor of Gloucester will be performed at the Lansdown Hall & Gallery in Stroud on January 7 and 8.
The show tells the story of a poor tailor, who falls foul of his cat when he rescues the mice.
This promises to be a merry adventure for all the family; full of nursery rhymes, songs and humour.
This company is much loved for producing children's theatre which simultaneously tickles the funny bones of grown-ups.
The perfect show to celebrate the 150 year anniversary of the birth of Beatrix Potter.
The Tailor of Gloucester is directed by Vasile Nedelcu with music arranged by David Brett (one of the original Flying Pickets who had a Number One Hit with Only You in 1983).
- See The Tailor of Gloucester at Lansdown Hall & Gallery in Stroud on January 7 at 5pm and January 8 at 11am and 3pm.
Tickets £7/£5 (£20 family ticket). Go to lansdownhall.org/events/the-tailor-of-gloucester for more.
