COTSWOLD Motoring Museum & Toy Collection, based in Bourton-on-the-Water, is inviting visitors to come and celebrate the 25th anniversary of TV star Brum, who permanently resides at the museum.

Birthday celebrations for the supercar will run from Monday, September 26 until Sunday, October 30.

The little superhero car first drove on to TV screens in 1991, keeping viewers entertained with his self-driven adventures into the ‘Big Town’. Ceasing production in 2002, the car - a half-scale replica of a late-1920s Austin 7 "Chummy" convertible – started and ended his on screen journey at the Cotswold Motoring Museum, where he can still be found today.

To mark his 25th birthday, Brum will take centre stage at the museum and will be supported by a number of Brum-related activities and competitions, including a themed treasure hunt and dot-to-dot colouring activities.

Visitors will also be invited to make their own birthday card for Brum and will receive a small gift, as well as seeing their creation take pride of place on display, making the visit a great day out for all the family.

Taking Brum into the digital age, visitors will also be encouraged to take a selfie with the car, using the hashtag #Brum25 to share their favourite pictures.

The Cotswold Motoring Museum takes visitors on journey through its motoring and toy collections, from vintage and classic cars to motorcycles, caravans and other intriguing collections of motoring curiosities.

It is open from 10am to 6pm, seven days a week, until mid-December 2016 before reopening in the New Year.
