AN EXHIBITION of the works of French painter Henri Matisse entitled Lithographs and Collotypes takes place at The John Davies Gallery in Moreton-in-Marsh.
Matisse's famous Florilège des Amours de Ronsard forms part of the exhibition. With its themes of fruits, flowers, portraits and the female form, it captures an exuberant, vivacious mood, echoing the poems that inspired the collection.
The Last Works, Posters, Jazz and Circus, Dessins and Visages complete the works showing.
- Lithographs and Collotypes by Henri Matisse is open from Monday to Saturday, 9.30am- 5pm, until August 27 at The John Davies Gallery, The Old Dairy Plant, Moreton-in-Marsh, GL56 9NQ.
