ALDSWORTH '1939' Village fete is on Saturday, July 9 from 2-5pm at Aldsworth Village Hall.
With a 1930's theme to the event, there will military vehicles and classic cars and a fly past from a spitfire or hurricane plane.
A local swing band called Saxophony will be providing live music throughout the event to keep everyone in the 30's mood and organisers have modernised 1939 games, including bowling for a pig and darts for a barrel of beer.
Stalls, books, tombola and plants and produce.
Something for all the family. Villagers will be in 1930's costume.
- Entry £2. A percentage of the raffle is going to a charity called combat stress who help people aged 18-97 deal with post traumatic stress disorder.
