ANDY Warhol, Works from the Hall Art Foundation exhibition at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford from February 4 until May 15.

The exhibition present an important private collection of works by Andy Warhol, in public for the first time.

A cultural icon, celebrity and provocateur, Warhol produced images that are instantly recognisable, but this private collection reveals an unfamiliar side to the artist in his less well known works.

Over 100 works are featured in the exhibition from the Hall collection in the USA, and are displayed alongside artist films and ephemera from the Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh.

Curated by Sir Norman Rosenthal, the exhibition spans Warhol’s entire output from the iconic pieces of the 60s pop pioneer to the experimental works of his last decade.
